Atocha Protocol IDO Guide: How to Deposit in Skyward Finance Launchpad

This is a guide for the community to participate in Skyward Finance Launchpad’s IDO. Skyward Finance is a Near Native launchpad that is providing launchpad service for the projects that are planning for IDO on Near ecosystem. The IDO mechanism for Skyward Finance is rather unique, using a time-based auction. In other words, sales are not instant and will be split linearly over the duration of the sale. On the bright side, the IDO will be unlikely to be manipulated by bots which reduces the risk of Pump and Dump. You can read more about it in the FAQ provided by Skyward Finance.

Here, we have prepared a step-by-step guide for the community to maneuver.

Step 1 — Go to https://skyward.finance and head over to Application (do set up your Near wallet before hand via https://wallet.near.org)
Step 2 — Do make sure that you have checked this box as pointed out to prevent non-whitelisted listings showing up and you may participate in a wrong pool (which may be a scam and you may lose your funds).
Step 3 — Head over to https://app.skyward.finance/sale/99 which is our official pool. There you can see that Deposit Stage has already started and you can deposit NEAR at any moment. The sales will be starting on 18 May 2022 and ending on 25 May 2022 (0000 UTC).
Step 4 — Scroll down and click Deposit Near. Key in the amount of $NEAR that you want to deposit which will become the capital for the IDO smart contract to execute auction purchase for you when the sales stage starts.
Step 5 — Proceed with approving the transaction.
Step 5 — All done! You can see the amount deposited of $NEAR (which can be withdrawn anytime as well). Then, on the second row, you can see the expected received $ATO. Do note that the amount of $ATO will fluctuate based on the total deposit received in $NEAR.
